Vive l’Italie

OK, so it’s over the border, but it’s not that far and one could always pack up the kids and take a road trip in order to enjoy some Italian ‘Home Food’. This is a great new concept in Italy where a network of women (and some men), affectionately known as “cesarina’s welcome you into their home for a taste of autentic Italian cuisine. All participants must meet a high standard of culinary skill and knowledge of regional traditions. Dinners range from supper in a Roman flat to a feast in a Renaissance palace in Siena. So, if you are lookng for the next getaway or a chance to broaden your kids’ horizons, skip the restaurant guides and sign up for a real home cooked Italian meal!

What to do, what to do…

Always on the lookout for things to do to get us out of the house, I often consult . They have loads of ideas and information about what to do with children in the PACA region. But now, happily, they have gone one further. Now they have a magazine with loads of ideas, activities and offers to keep you and the kids busy for days.

You can find the magazine in kiosques or you can sign up for a subscription on their website.

Bravo Pacamomes!
